What this policy covers
This policy explains how we collect, use and store personal information when you visit our website, contact us, book a Complimentary Founder Conversation or Founder Discovery Session, complete the Founder Discovery Questionnaire, purchase or join a Plan, become a Stratworth client, use the Stratworth Vault, work through SCALE2SELL® materials or take part in Dashboard and Quarterly Readiness Reviews.
It also explains the cookies and browser storage used by our website and Stratworth Vault.
The information we collect
When you contact us
If you use our enquiry form or contact us directly, we may receive your name, business name, contact details and the information you choose to provide. If you email us, we keep the correspondence.
When you complete Founder Discovery
If you purchase a Founder Discovery Session, we may hold your name, business and contact details, purchase details, booking information and your answers to the Founder Discovery Questionnaire. The Questionnaire may include information about your business, ownership, role, management team, current priorities, expected changes and founder dependence. We use this information to prepare for and provide your Discovery Session and, where appropriate, to recommend a Stratworth Plan.
When you take the Readiness Assessment
Your answers are saved in your own browser as you go so that you can stop and come back. They are not sent to us unless you choose to send your results to Nik or, if you are a client signed in to the Stratworth Vault, you choose to save your scores to your dashboard so that you can see your progress.
If you send your results to Nik, we receive your answers and scores, anything you write in the optional questions, and the details you give us: your name, business name, email address and, if you choose to provide it, your mobile number.
When you book a call
If you book a call through our booking calendar, Calendly collects the details you enter on the booking page and shares them with us so that we can arrange and hold the call.
When you purchase a session or start a Plan
Payments are taken by Stripe on its own secure checkout pages. We receive information such as your name, email address, billing details, what you purchased and payment status, but we never receive or store your full card details.
When you use the Stratworth Vault
We hold the information needed to provide and secure your Vault account and engagement. This may include your email address, sign-in and security records, Founder Discovery information, files you upload, Toolkit information you submit, Dashboard and Readiness Radar information, review history and other records generated through your use of the Vault.
When you work with us
If you become a client, we hold information about your business and information about your staff, customers, suppliers or other people that you choose to share with us, together with our notes of sessions, recommendations and correspondence. Please only provide personal information that is reasonably necessary for the work we are doing together.
When you visit the website
Our website host may process technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the website and keep it secure. We do not intend to use this information to identify or profile you. We do not run website analytics or similar technology.

Who we share information with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate Stratworth and provide our services. These currently include or may include Netlify for website and Vault functionality, Stripe for payments and subscriptions, Calendly for bookings, Microsoft 365 for business email and communications, and Zoom or Microsoft Teams for video calls. The particular providers may change from time to time.
Where a provider processes personal data on our behalf, we require it to handle that information appropriately and in accordance with applicable data-protection law.
Introducers and referral partners
If another professional contact introduces you to Stratworth, we may receive the information reasonably necessary to contact you and consider whether we can help. Where a referral, introduction or other remuneration arrangement applies, we may share the limited information reasonably necessary to administer that arrangement. The arrangement is disclosed in accordance with our Terms of Business and, where relevant, your engagement details or Engagement Letter.
If you ask us to introduce you to another professional adviser, we will share your details only where there is an appropriate lawful basis and only to the extent reasonably necessary to make the introduction. The professional adviser handles personal data under its own privacy policy and is responsible for its own professional services.
Professional advisers and insurers
We may share information with our own professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, and with our insurers where this is reasonably necessary to obtain advice, meet our obligations, protect our interests or deal with a claim.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with anyone else except as described in this policy, with your agreement where appropriate, or where required or permitted by law.
International transfers
Some service providers may process personal data outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we use appropriate safeguards required by UK data-protection law. These may include UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections.
